Q162 Filter Mixer
Use the Q162 Filter Mixer next to your Q107 Filter to easily create new sounds. Sim-
ply select the amount of High Pass, Band Pass, Notch, and Low Pass response used
to contribute to the final waveform which is available at 2 connectors.
The Q162 is connected to the Q107 Filter using cables behind the panels. Requires
exchanging connectors on the Q107 filter. Soldering not required.

Installation

The Q162 normally mounts to the right side of a Q107 Filter. Four jack assemblies
are provided which are made to replace the High, Band, Notch and Low jacks on the
Q107 and provide a cable to connect to the Q162. Each new jack assembly has 2
cables – one short one for connection to the Q107 and one long one which connects
to the Q162. Remove each of the 4 waveform jacks from the Q107 and replace it
with a new jack assembly and connect the short cable to the same place on the Q107
as the old cable. Then connect the 4 long cables to the Q162 according to the draw-
ing below.
