To replace it in the main unit, remove the accessory and place the lower end of the handheld unit into the designated recess, pressing down on the handle until you hear it click into place. -

The vacuum cleaner will remain on until you switch it off again. The vacuum cleaner automatically starts up with maximum suction power.
