Troubleshooting
Problem: The USB does not work
䠐 Possible Cause : USB memory is damaged.
䠐 Countermeasure: Please use after formatting the USB into FAT 16/32 format.
䠐 Possible Cause : USB memory has been contaminated.
䠐 Countermeasure: Remove any foreign substances on the contact surface of the USB
memory and multimedia terminal.
䠐 Possible Cause : A separately purchased USB HUB is being used.
䠐 Countermeasure: Directly connect the USB memory with the multimedia terminal on the
vehicle.
䠐 Possible Cause : A USB extension cable is being used.
䠐 Countermeasure: Directly connect the USB memory with the multimedia terminal on the
vehicle.
䠐 Possible Cause : A USB which is not a Metal Cover Type USB Memory is being used.
䠐 Countermeasure: Use standard USB Memory.
䠐 Possible Cause : An HDD type, CF, SD Memory is being used.
䠐 Countermeasure: Use standard USB Memory.
䠐 Possible Cause : There are no music files which can be played.
䠐 Countermeasure: Only MP3, WMA file formats are supported. Please use only the
supported music file formats.
Problem: The iPod is not recognized even though it has been connected
䠐 Possible Cause : There are no titles which can be played.
䠐 Countermeasure: Use iTunes to download and save MP3 files into the iPod.
䠐 Possible Cause : The iPod firmware version has not been properly updated.
䠐 Countermeasure: Use iTunes to update the firmware version and reconnect the iPod with
the device.
