2. Release the mounting lever.
 The mounting lever will snap upward.
 The securing lever must assume the locked
position by itself.

Replacing the receiving sleeve
1. Place the assembly tool in a horizontal
position.

If the assembly tool is positioned vertically,
the receiving sleeve will fall out of the assem-
bly tool in an uncontrolled manner.
2. Loosen the locking collar (item 1, Fig. 14)
and remove it from the assembly tool.
3. Remove the receiving sleeve (item 2, Fig. 14).
4. Place a new receiving sleeve in the assembly
tool.
5. Fasten the locking collar (item 1, Fig. 14) on
the assembly tool.

Cleaning the tool
Rub tool with a lint-free cloth saturated with
universal oil.
Rub dirty threads with a lint-free cloth sa-
turated with universal oil. Allow the universal
oil to act for a few minutes. Then wipe the
threads with a lint-free cloth and blow dry
using clean compressed air.

Change of location
If the assembly tool is passed on, all the doc-
umentation included in the scope of delivery
must be handed over with it. The snap ring
assembly tool must only be transported in the
original or equivalent packaging.
6.2
Disposal and scrapping
Dismantle the snap ring assembly tool and sort
out and dispose of the different materials in
accordance with the applicable regulations.
