3.1 Intended use
The snap ring assembly tool 0 986 613 670
(called assembly tool in the following) is used
to install the snap ring F 00V C23 002 on a com-
mon rail injector (CRI).

4. Operation
WARNING - Risk of injury due to
parts flying off!

Wear safety goggles.
¶
Make sure there is no one in the
immediate vicinity when installing
the snap ring.
4.1 Preparations
¶
Wipe the CRI with a clean cloth.
¶
Keep the CRI in the immediate vicinity for
installation of the snap ring.
4.2 Installing the snap ring on the
CRI
1. Place the mounting mandrel in the receiving
sleeve.
