13. HDMI 1.4 ARC Inspection

13.1. Used Device
- MSHG-600,
- optic decoder,
- adjustment remote control

13.2. HDMI ARC Inspection

(1) Select "P-ONLY" on the adjustment remote control.
(2) Insert the HDMI cable connected to the MSHG-600 device
to the HDMI (ARC) port.
(3) Check if the speaker operates normally.
(4) After four to five seconds, check if the projector speaker
turns off and the sound can be heard through the con-
nected ARC device.
* Ports 1 and 2 of the MSHG-600 device support ARC. The
ports 3, 4, and 5 do not support ARC.
* The supported ARC ports are marked as "HDMI (ARC)".

14. Brightness Inspection

- Measure the subjects below and it should satisfy the spec of
product specification.
(1) Brightness(Annsi-Lumen)
(2) Whiteness color coordinate
(KAGA measures R,G,B color coordinate)
(3) Color Uniformity
(4) Brightness Uniformity
14.1. Preparation for Adjustment and
Device Composition
14.1.1. Adjustment Preparation
(1) Input source: Default (No need to designate Source)
(2) The order of operating the adjustment remote controller
buttons
- IN-STAR -> 18. DDP OPTIC CHECK -> Select Full
White.

JIG Software Organization
(1) Model Selection : PF1500
(2) Selecting screen size : W: 886, H: 498
(Fig. 14-1-3-1)
1) Press the direction key of the adjustment remote
controller to change the screen of the projector to White
Pattern.
- After 2~3 seconds, White Color Coordinate Data is
transmitted from CL200.
- In the result display window in the right center of the
screen, color coordinate and brightness value are
recorded.
2) Press 'Finish' button of the screen.
(3) White brightness inspection: brightness is Min Spec 600
ANSI lm or more.

15. TV Performance test

(1) Channel scan
1) Connect the signal to RF Jack.
2) Select "TV" by pressing "Input" on the remote control.
3) Select Menu-Channel-Auto Channel to check the chan-
nels by running auto scan.
- Make sure to run AUTO SCAN on the first production
set (Lot)
(2) Analog TV test
1) Connect the signal to RF Jack.
2) Select "TV" by pressing "Input" on the remote control.
3) Press "CH+/CH-" on the remote control to switch the
channel to CH2, CH4(HECTO2), and then check the
screen condition.
(3) Digital TV test
1) Connect the signal to RF Jack.
2) Select CH31-3(HECTO2) and check the DTV reception
condition.
