OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS 1. Automatic line feed system When initially switching on the trimmer, a small length of line is fed out. Each time the tool is started from rest it will advance about 0.25 inches of trimmer line. A ‘clattering’ noise will be heard when the lines hit the Line Cutter. DO NOT BE ALARMED. -

To remove the spool for line replacement on Ronix part number 8921, follow these steps:
1. Disconnect the battery from the tool.
2. Refer to Figures K1, K2, and K3 for spool fitting/removal guidance.
3. Pull the spool cover off the trimmer head.
4. Remove the spool from the housing.
5. If winding new line, take about 10 ft (3 m) of line, insert 5/8 inch (15 mm) into the spool holes, and wind in the direction of the arrows.
6. Leave about 4 inches (100 mm) unwound and place it into the cleat.
7. Ensure the line is neatly coiled before reinstalling the spool.
