1. Introduction

The Legrand AU1015 airQast Main Source (see Figure 1) is designed to provide
digital media selection and control to any Legrand lyriQ Audio Distribution System via
a WiFi network (see Figure 2).

2. Description

The airQast Main Source attaches to the Single Source input jack of the lyriQ Audio
Distribution Module with a supplied cable. The music content is housed on the
customer's PC or the internet, accessed through our supplied Server Software over
the local WiFi network. Control of the music content is provided via the customer's PC
or optionally smart phone, running our supplied Controller app, again over the WiFi
network (see Figure 2).
The front panel status LED (see Figure 1) indicates a successful power-up and a
good WiFi and airQast server connection with a SOLID GREEN status. BLINKING
ORANGE at a 1Hz rate indicates a successful power-up, but no WiFi connection yet,
while BLINKING ORANGE at a 2Hz rate indicates WiFi is established, but looking for
the airQast server.
NOTE: The AU1015 airQast Main Source comes with the Main Unit and required cables only. The optional smart
phone controller app must be downloaded from the appropriate website (Apple or Android), and the PC Server
Software may be downloaded from www.legrand.us/airqast.
NOTE: The AU1015 is not controlled via the lyriQ system or any associated Unity system; but only via the
Legrand Server/Controller Software running on the customer's always-on PC or the controller app on his smart
phone.

3. Installation

The installation of the AU1015 airQast Main Source involves several steps including downloading and running software,
downloading an app for a smart device, like an iPhone and the actual physical installation of the Main Source. These
steps are detailed below.
