7. InserTIng / rePlacIng baTTerIes

1. Loosen the screw (3) on the battery compartment (5) using a Phillips screwdriver.
2. Turn the battery compartment cover (4) anti-clockwise and remove the cover. (Note marking on
device).
3. Remove the battery holder from the battery compartment.
4. Insert four AA batteries into the battery holder, observing the polarity markings inside the battery
holder bays.
5. Insert the battery holder back into the battery compartment. Only one direction is possible. Do not
use any force. The battery holder must audibly snap into place.
6. Close the battery compartment again and tighten the screw, applying moderate force.
Replace the batteries when the battery LED (10) is flashing.

8. connecTIng camera

1. Connect the plug of the gooseneck camera to the socket on the base unit. The protruding metal
tongue on the camera's plug should be facing the recess on the front side of the socket.
2. Slide the screw cap (12) upward in the direction of the camera and turn the screw cap counter to
the direction of the arrow shown on the inscription remove to lock the gooseneck (2) with the
camera head (1) into position.
3. Follow these steps in reverse order when disconnecting the camera from the base unit.
