3.1 Switching on
1. Insert the plug into the wall socket.
2. Turn the temperature regulator
clockwise to a medium setting.
Power indicator and alarm lights will
illuminate.
3.2 Switching off
To turn off the appliance, turn the
temperature regulator to

3.3 Temperature regulation
The temperature is automatically
regulated.
To operate the appliance, proceed as
follows:
1. turn the temperature regulator
towards lower settings to obtain the
minimum coldness
2. turn the temperature regulator
towards higher settings to obtain the
maximum coldness
A medium setting is
generally the most suitable.
However, the exact setting
should be chosen keeping in
mind that the temperature
inside the appliance
depends on:
• room temperature
• frequency of opening the
• quantity of food stored
• appliance location.

4. DAILY USE

4.1 Storage of frozen food
When first starting-up or after a period
out of use, before putting the products
in the compartment let the appliance run
position.

is high or the appliance is
fully loaded, and the
appliance is set to the lowest
temperature, it may run
continuously causing frost to
form on the rear wall. In this
case the temperature
regulator must be set to a
higher temperature to allow
automatic defrosting and
reduce energy consumption

3.4 High temperature alarm
Temperature increase in the appliance
(for example due to an earlier power
failure or door opening) is indicated by
the flashing alarm light.
When normal conditions are restored the
alarm light will stop flashing.

ensure that it is quick and easy to find
the food package you want. If large
quantities of food are to be stored,
remove all drawers except for the
bottom drawer which needs to be in
place to provide good air circulation. On
all shelves it is possible to place food
that protrude until 15 mm from the door.
