Hardware Installation Please follow the instructions below to complete the hardware installation: Step 1: Open the package and take out the product making sure that all contents are not damaged or missing. Please follow the formatting instructions given by the operating system to format the drives.

Hard Drive Replacement Instructions In normal operational state, if the LCD displays “Pri : X” or “Sec : X” and the audio alarm activates, this would indicate that the hard drive may be malfunctioning. When this happens, you may choose to disable the audio alarm by pressing the MUTE button located at the front of the system and continue to operate the system normally.

When the Power Alarm indicator lights amber, this means the system temperature has exceeded its limitation or the system fan has malfunctioned. Hard drive status indicator : When the hard drive status indicator is o , this means the drives are idling.
