Before the First Use

Before the first use, familiarise yourself with the unit. Read the safety notes and
use the unit only according to this manual.
Remove all packaging from the unit and the accessories. Do not leave packaging
materials lying around; plastic bags may become a deadly toy for small children.
After that, clean all parts as described as in the chapter "Cleaning" on
page 11.

Please notice:

When chopping some hard foods like as herbs, garlic, carrots, potato etc.
please add in the chopper bowl a few water.
Before processing food like meat, remove all hard parts such as sinews, gris-
tle and bones.
Do not chop extremely hard food, such as nutmeg, coffee beans and grains
because the blade can become blunt.
The chopper is not suitable for processing peppercorns or ice cubes.
Use the chopper for smaller quantities, never more than max. 400 ml in order
to obtain better results or to avoid juice splash out.
Do not use the appliance when it is empty.
The blade may need replacing after heavy long term use. A new blade will
give you first class results.
Cut cheese, raw fruit or vegetables into 1 cm big cubes.
Before beating egg whites, ensure that the bowl is grease-free and dry.
