Important:
Carefully wipe off any dirt from the edges until
you can see the color of the cap.
If dirt is left, it creates a gap between the caps
and the print head that causes a decrease in
suction strength and the print head nozzles
could become clogged.
I
Make sure that ink stains, fibers, and dust that
have adhered to the cap have been removed.
After checking the following, go to the next
procedure.
Any dirt around the edges can cause a decrease in
suction power. If there is any dirt remaining, soak
the cleaning stick in ink cleaner, and then repeat
steps 7 to 8 to wipe off the dirt. If the cleaning
stick is dirty at this time, replace it with a new
one.
J
Close the right side of the printer cover, and then
press Done on the control panel screen.
The platen and print head return to their normal
positions, and the Settings menu closes.
After you finish cleaning, we recommend
checking for clogged nozzles.
