    When it is connected, replace the cover. 1. Connecting to a Computer Connect the power cord for your monitor to the power port on the back of the monitor. Plug the power cord for the monitor into a nearby outlet.

    (You don't need to install any separate speakers for your computer.) You may get a blank screen depending on the type of video card you are using, if you connect simultaneously both the D-sub and DVI cables to one computer.

    This monitor has a built-in power management system called PowerSaver. This system saves energy by switching your monitor into a low-power mode when it has not been used for a certain amount of time. The monitor automatically returns to normal operation when you press a key on the keyboard.
