Formatting a Disc

Use these instructions to format a disc.
The disc protect should also be cleared.
1. With the unit in Stop mode, press the MENU button.

Press the ▲▼ buttons to select Disc Manager, then press the OK

• You will be prompted with the confi rmation message"Current

• If you select Yes, you will be prompted with the confi rmation
message "All data will be deleted. Do you want to continue?".

• You will be prompted with the confi rmation message "Choose the
recording format for DVD-RW."
• If you select the desired format type, you will be prompted with
the confi rmation message "All data will be deleted. Do you want

to continue?".
Press the ◄► buttons to select Yes, then press the OK button. The
