Common issues with the Taylor R280 machine not working include:

1. Display Not Illuminated
- Check switch, switch harness, and power cord.
- Check for a short circuit.
- Verify if the 24V circuit breaker (CB1) is tripped and reset it if necessary.

2. Display Board Not Functioning
- Ensure the white six-wire harness is properly connected to the display board.
- Verify that the processor is fully seated on the main controller.
- If power is present and connections are correct, replace the display PCB.

3. Unable to Make a Basket Load Size Selection
- Calibration may be lost (indicator lights do not remain lit after selection).
- Calibrate using User Function U2.

4. Accumulator Doors Not Closing
- Positioning information may be lost.
- Use diagnostic function d09 to manually operate and close doors.
- If doors return to open, restore defaults using function d17, then use function d09 to close them again.
