Menu functions

Contacts

(Menu 8)
You can store phone numbers on your SIM card and in
your phone's memory. The SIM card and phone's
memory are physically separate, but they are used as
a single entity called Contacts.
To access this menu, press <Menu> in Idle mode and
select Contacts, or press <Contacts> in Idle mode.

Find name

(Menu 8.1)
Use this menu to search for numbers in Contacts.
In Idle mode, press [Down] to quickly access this menu.
Finding an entry
1. Enter the first few letters of the name that you
want to find.
2. Scroll to the name you want.
3. For entries saved on the SIM card, press [
dial.
For entries saved in the phone's memory, scroll to
a number and press [

Using Contacts options
While viewing contact details, press <Options> to
access the following options:
Send message: send an SMS or MMS message to
the selected number.
Assign speed dial: assign a speed dial number to
the selected number.
Edit number: edit the selected number.
Change name: change the name of the selected
contact.
Delete entry: delete the contact.
Copy: copy the selected number to the phone's
memory or to the SIM card.

Add entry

(Menu 8.2)
Use this menu to add a new contact to Contacts.
Storing a number in the phone's memory
1. Select Phone.
2. Select a number type.
