WVP 800 DH Operator Instructions
1) Once model no WVP 800 DH has been removed from its packaging, lay all
components next to main unit to ensure the following accessories have been included.
1 x WVP 800 DH
1 x 4mtr discharge hose
4 x 76mm locking castors
1 x 2.5 mtr vacuum hose/bend assembly
4 x 32mm plastic extension tubes
1 x wet pick up nozzle
1 x nozzle cleaner with slide on brush

Setting up the vacuum

2) Connect 2.5 mtr hose/bend assembly to hose inlet fitted on the front of the drum
assembly.
3) Connect 4 x 32mm plastic extension tubes together and then fit into 32mm plastic
bend fitted to the end of the hose.
4) Fit wet pick up nozzle onto the end of the 32mm extension tube.
5) Connect 4 mtr discharge hose (screw fitting) to rear of drum assembly.
6) Fully uncoil discharge hose and place into a suitable drainage system which must be
lower than the vacuum to work effectively.
7) Move vacuum unit into position, ensuring that is placed on level ground. Push down
the locking mechanism on each castor to secure the unit in place.
8) Ensure that power switch on the vacuum unit is switched off before plugging the
mains lead into a suitable mains power outlet. You may wish to connect the vacuum to an
R.C.D
(rated at 30 Milli
Amps) before connecting to a power supply.
9) Turn on vacuum switch.
10) Lower extension tubes and wet pick up nozzle into pond.
11) The Vacuum will start to suck up the liquid/debris and when full will automatically
empty the contents via the discharge hose. The quantities of water/waste can be adjusted
by adjusting the auxiliary air inlet on the plastic bend. Please note that the vacuum switch
will need to be turned off before further vacuuming commences.
12) Sometimes sediment may settle in the bottom of the drum assembly, this can easily
be rectified by flushing the unit through with clean water.
