    Using T9 Mode T9 is a predictive text input mode that allows you to key in any character using single keystrokes. This text input mode is based on a built-in dictionary. To enter a word in T9 mode: 1. When you are in T9 mode, start entering a word by pressing the 2 to 9 keys.

    Text Messages Short Message Service (SMS) allows you to send and receive short text messages to and from other GSM mobile phones. In addition, your phone supports the Enhanced Messaging Service (EMS), which enables you to include simple pictures, melodies, and animated images in your messages. To use this feature, you must subscribe to your service provider’s message service.

    Text Messages Outbox (Menu 1.2) This message box is used to store the messages that you have already sent or will send. When you enter this menu, the list of messages in the box displays with the recipients’ phone numbers or names, if available in your Phonebook.

    Picture Messages Multimedia Message Service (MMS) is a messaging service very similar to Short Message Service (SMS). It provides automatic and immediate delivery of personal multimedia messages from phone to phone or from phone to e-mail. In addition to the familiar text content of text messages, multimedia messages can contain images, graphics, voice and audio clips.
