1.7 Storage

When storing for a prolonged time the following steps are to be taken to avoid da-
maging influences: Protection by dry, air- dustproof packing (plastic bags with drying
agent and moisture indicators). The storage place must be waterproof, vibration-free
and free of temperature variations. Damages due to improper transportation, storage
or commissioning are verifiable and not liable for warranty.

1.8 Area of application

The Helios signal generator types BL, BLH or WH are specially designed for use in
safety systems for alarms in case of system activation or faults.

The Helios signal generators BL, BLH and WH are designed for wall and ceiling installation.
The electrical assembly is carried out using the clearly labeled terminal block and the base op-

2. Mark drill holes on wall and drill holes (Fig.4).
3. Drill out cable entry in base (Fig.5) and screw base down.
4. If necessary, attach cable gland (provided by customer) to base.
5. Then connect the control cable to the terminal block.
In this respect, observe the respective wiring diagram (see chapter 3)!
