In order to ensure correct operation and for your own safety, please read and observe
the following instructions carefully before proceeding. Relevant national standards,
safety regulations and provisions (e.g. DIN EN VDE 0100) as well as the technical
connection conditions of the energy supply company must be observed and applied.
Keep the operating instructions close to the unit for reference.
The adjacent symbols are safety-relevant warning symbols.
All safety regulations and/or symbols must be absolutely ad-
hered to, so that any dangerous situation is avoided!
Special regulations apply for use, connection and operation;
consultation is required in case of doubt. Further information can
be found in the relevant standards and legal texts.
m With regard to all work, the generally applicable safety at work
and accident prevention regulations must be observed!
• All electrical work as well as commissioning, installation, servi-
cing and maintenance work must only be carried out by authori-
sed, qualified electricians!
Our warranty shall not apply if the following instructions are not observed. The same
applies for liability claims against the manufacturer. The use of accessories, which are
not recommended or offered by Helios, is not permitted. Any damage that may occur
is not liable for warranty.
If the product is installed correctly and used to its intended purpose, it conforms to all
applicable regulations and EU guidelines at its date of manufacture.
Please check delivery immediately on receipt for accuracy and damage. If damaged,
please notify the carrier immediately. In case of delayed notification, any possible claim
may be void.
The delivery contains one of the following signal generators:
– Flash light
BL / Ref. no.: 8216
– Flash light siren
BLH / Ref. no.: 4983
– Alarm siren
WH / Ref. no.: 8217
These are complete units consisting of a wall mounting and alarm unit, installed in a
high-quality red plastic casing (ABS) in accordance with VDI 2053.
