Interface Adapter to allow an external trigger signal to be sent to the
Decoder board. Such a connection must be carefully designed to avoid ESD
(electrical discharges) to reach the Interface Adapter and/or the Decoder
board. The following figure shows a diagram with a typical connection for an
external trigger:
