Operation from the outside
When equipped with Comfort Access the
convertible top can also be operated from
outside.
Convenient opening, refer to page 53,
with the vehicle key.
Convenient closing, refer to page 54,
with the vehicle key.
Closing via Comfort Access, refer to
page 58.
Cargo area partition
With the convertible top closed, the cargo
area volume can be expanded.

Wind deflector
Concept
The wind deflector reduces the air move-
ment in the car's interior when driving with
the convertible top down.
Safety information
NOTICE
When moving the front seats back, the
wind deflector can be damaged. There is a
risk of damage to property. Make sure that
the area of movement is clear prior to
moving the front seats back.

Warning
Body parts can be jammed when operating
the wind deflector. There is a risk of in-
jury. Make sure that the area of movement
around the wind deflector is clear when in-
stalling and removing it and folding it up.
Warning
Objects placed on the installed wind de-
flector can be thrown into the car's inte-
rior or endanger other traffic participants,
for instance in case of an accident, braking
or evasive maneuver. The objects can dam-
age the wind deflector. There is a risk of
injury or risk of damage to property. Do
not place any objects on the installed wind
deflector.
Warning
Operating the wind deflector while driving
can distract from the surrounding traffic.
There is a risk of accident. Operate the
wind deflector only when the vehicle is
stationary.
Installing
The wind deflector is located in a protective
jacket in the cargo area.
To protect the head restraints from damage,
slide the rear head restraints into the upper
position prior to installation and removal.

Take the wind deflector out of the pro-
tective jacket.
