and air and connect to mains power

Volume Controlled Ventilation
(Image A & C) START UP MODE
• Turn device On
• Set Oxygen to 9L/min
• Set Air to 3L/min
• Attach patient end of breathing system to
test lung / bag observe bellows fill
• Select 'ADULT DEFAULTS' on the display
screen
• Select 'VOLUME' on the display screen
and press once
• Set Volume to 400 mls, Rate to 20,
I:E = 1:2 and PEEP to 15
• Press Volume twice to start ventilation
• Check Oxygen reads 80% and High
pressure alarm at 35 cmH

• Only then attach to patient
