Cut solid ingredients into small pieces before you process them. For
larger quantities, pour small batches of ingredients at a time instead
of one large quantity.
Cooked ingredients can also be processed in the blender as soup
preparation.
If blending results are unsatisfactory, switch the appliance off and
stir the ingredients with a spatula before continuing to blend.
Use the Max or Pulse speed for best blending results.
Tips
To crush ice, use the Pulse function. Always add
enough water for the ice to start floating.
The blender should not be worked for more than 2 minutes at a
time, allow the appliance to cool down for 10 minutes before the
next operation.
Avoid going over 1 quart in the blender for liquids that are hot or
tend to foam (e.g. milk) to prevent spillage.
When mixing hot liquid, do not fill more than 2/3 of the jar and be
very careful in order to avoid splashing of hot liquid, otherwise you
can get burned.
