Please note the following safety notes to avoid malfunctions,
damage or physical injury:
 Make sure the operating voltage stated on the type label corresponds to the
power mains.
 Persons with limited physical, sensorial or mental abilities are not allowed to
use the device, unless they are supervised for their safety by a qualified
person.
 Operate the iron with decalcified water and/or tap water. Do not fill any
additives into the water tank.
 Keep the iron out of the reach of children and do not point the iron towards
people or animals while it is connected to power mains. Risk of burn!
 Do not immerse the iron or the base in water or other liquids.
 Do not leave the iron sitting on the sole while it is switched on. Do not leave
the iron unattended while it is plugged in.
 Only use and reset the iron on a stable surface. When placing the iron on its
stand, make sure to place the stand on a stable surface.
 Never yank the cord to disconnect from an outlet, instead grasp the plug and
pull to disconnect. Pull the power cord before filling water in the tank, emptying
water or when not in use.
 Keep both cables out of reach of hot surfaces. Allow the steam iron to cool
down fully before storing it.
 Be careful to keep children from pulling on the power cord while the iron is in
use. Ensure that the cable does not become a tripping hazard.
 The device is not intended for continuous professional operation. The device is
intended to be used in closed rooms only and in similar applications such as:
staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments; farm
houses; by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;
bed and breakfast type environments. The use in any other way is not consid-
ered as intended use.
 Do not operate the iron if it has been dropped, the power cord has been
damaged or any other kind of damage appears. Have it repaired by a qualified
technician.
 Do not disassemble the device or attempt to repair it yourself.
