    Balancing the APZ Mount The APZ mount employs the fr ic tion s top me c hanism in the motion of b oth up and down and fr om side to side. It will tend to slip in the r ot ating motion if us e d in an unbalanc e d s t ate. If the mount is in an unbalanc e d s t ate, it will inc r ea s e s tr es s to the gear s and this c oul d result in unwante d vibration.
