• Precautions When Inserting Wires
• Crimping dimensions: W2.1×H1.48 mm
Maximum connectable crimping size is W2.1×H1.48. Make sure that the ferrule size will be smaller than this dimension. (Recommended
crimping tool, see "Recommended Tools" on page 3-15. )
• Connect the ferrules to the terminal block with the direction shown in the following diagram.
Ferrule: Longer direction is horizontal
• Do not insert the ferrules with the direction shown in the following diagram. The clamp and spring may break and no longer function.
Ferrule: Longer direction is vertical

This section describes the type and usage method of terminals.

Terminals for the Terminal Block

• Choose an appropriate ferrule for the wire.
• For details, see "Wire Size and Recommended Ferrules" on page 3-14.
• Cut the wire carefully to get a flat end.
• Make sure that ferrule sleeve is completely filled by the conductor. Depending on the cross section, the conductor should protrude
approx. 0 to 1 mm from the ferrule sleeve.
• When crimping, refer to the instructions of the crimping tool.
• Crimping dimensions: W2.1×H1.48 mm
