PROBLEM
The winch pulling
power is low.
Oil pressure
under 145 bar.
Too low oil pressure. Pump malfunction.
Sudden pressure loss
when winch is not
operating.
The brake force is

when the clutch is
disengaged.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
Too much wire rope on the drum.
Greasy clutch plates
(improper chain drive lubrication).
Worn out clutch plates.
Damaged driving component of the
winch.
Low oil pressure.
Not enough oil in the reservoir.
Incorrectly adjusted operating
pressure.
Not enough oil in the reservoir.
Non-return valve malfunction.
Seat unloading valve malfunction.
Control valve malfunction.
Pressure accumulator malfunction.
Incorrectly adjusted brake.
Brake band lining is greasy.
Damaged brake mechanism.
Worn out brake band.
Incorrectly set wire rope release
power.
Damaged wire rope.
Damaged brake band.
Incorrectly adjusted clutch cylinder
stroke.
Damaged drum.
Damaged clutch plates.
ACTION
(Chapter: 4.2., 4.4.).
Clean the surface of the clutch plates or
replace the clutch plates.
Replace the clutch plates.
Replace the damaged components.
Check the reservoir oil level and add the oil if
necessary,
Find and seal the eventual oil leakage.
Contact the service department.
Contact the service department.
Set the brake power according to the
instructions (Chapter: 4.6.).
Clean the brake band lining and the drum
surface.
Replace the damaged parts.

Set the wire rope release power according to
the instructions (Chapter: 4.5.).
