Automatic Climate Control

For proper operation of the climate
control system, keep all windows and
the sliding roof closed.
The engine must be running fo r the
ACC unit to work.
Heating, cooling and air distribution
w ithin the vehicle's interior is auto­
matically controlled. Furthermore,
settings are available fo r extreme
w eather conditions, enabling the

defogging of the windshield or air
ventilation to top and bottom . This is
accom plished with the tem perature
selector (3), the push buttons, and
the fan switch (4).
The movable nozzles (1) and (2) can
be opened o r closed as desired. Turn
clockw ise to open.
For corre ct operation of the auto­
m atic climate control system, the
movable nozzles (1) and (2) should all
be open.
All push buttons and fan control
buttons should only be operated
individually. The indicator lamps in the
individual buttons light up when
pressed with the lighting switch in
position (1) or (2).
We recommend settings @ and
^
only, in connection with the
desired fan setting. The following
instructions explain the remaining
settings.
