To a dd a u ser c ode t o y our t ouchscreen p anel, c omplete t he f ollowing s teps:
1. Go t o y our t ouchscreen p anel.
2. At t he H ome s creen, c hoose S ettings.
3. Enter a v alid a dministrator u ser P IN.
4. Choose U sers.
5. Choose A dd U ser.
6. Enter a u nique u ser n ame a nd t hen c hoose D one.
7. Enter a u nique f our-­‐digit P IN f or t he n ew u ser. T his w ill b e t he u ser's p anel a ccess c ode.
8. Enter t he s ame f our-­‐digit P IN a gain t o c onfirm t he c ode.
9. Choose w hether o r n ot y ou w ant t he n ew u ser t o b e a n a dministrator u ser.
Adjust t he b rightness/volume
You c an a djust t he b rightness o f y our p anel t ouchscreen d isplay a nd t he v olume o f t he s peaker b y
completing t he f ollowing s teps:
1. Go t o y our t ouchscreen p anel.
2. At t he H ome s creen, c hoose S ettings.
3. Choose P anel S ettings.
4. To c onfigure t he v olume, c hoose t he V olume b utton, a djust t he v olume t o y our d esired l evel,
and t hen c hoose O K. N ote t hat t he v olume s etting d oes n ot a ffect t he a larm s ounder v olume.
5. To c onfigure t he b rightness, c hoose t he D isplay B rightness b utton, a djust t he b rightness t o y our
desired l evel, a nd t hen c hoose O K.
Arming t he s ystem
You c an a rm y our s ecurity t o e ither S tay o r L eave. T he S tay s etting w ill a rm a ll y our s ensors E XCEPT
motion d etectors. T he L eave s etting w ill a rm a ll s ensors I NCLUDING m otion d etectors. T o a rm y our
system, c omplete t he f ollowing s teps:
1. Go t o y our t ouchscreen p anel a nd m ake s ure t he H ome b utton i s g reen.
2. Choose t he S ecurity b utton f rom y our h ome s creen.
3. If a ny s ensors a re s till o pen, c hoose B ypass A ll. O therwise g o t o s tep 4 .
4. Choose A rm S tay o r A rm L eave.
Backlight t imeout
The p anel b acklight t imeout s ets t he l ength o f t ime t hat t he d isplay s tays l it a fter u se. Y ou c an a djust t he
backlight t o 3 0 s econds; 1 , 2 , 5 , o r 1 0 m inutes; o r t o A lways O n t o l ight t he d isplay a t a ll t imes. D uring a
power o utage, t he d isplay w ill g o d ark a fter 3 0 s econds r egardless o f t his s etting i n o rder t o c onserve
the p anel's b ackup b attery. T o s et y our d isplay b acklight t imeout, c omplete t he f ollowing s teps:
1. Go t o y our t ouchscreen p anel.
2. At t he H ome s creen, c hoose S ettings.
3. Choose P anel S ettings.
4. Choose t he D isplay T imeout b utton, c hoose t he t ime p eriod y ou w ant, a nd t hen c hoose O K.
