  • Page 3 R&B music emphasize bass and put tremendous demands on low frequency loudspeakers. The SSP218 delivers the energy and power of modern music and it is built to take the stress of doing so continuously, to the extremes, without fail.
  • Page 4 *Peak output is calculated using “industry standard” techniques. These calculation methods create theoretical specifications that are inflated over what can actually be achieved. BASSBOSS real world output specifications are provided as “Maximum Sustained Output” ratings, which reflect actual measured, continuous output levels.

    The total power draw of one SSP218 amplifier module is 15A. Only one SSP218 should be connected to a 20A circuit. The typical power draw of one SSP218 amplifier module is 5A. With heavy demand, the current draw can peak at 20A for brief periods but under NEMA code, a 20A breaker should sustain a peak draw of 40A for several seconds without tripping.
