Chapter Two : Setting Up
It is po ssible to set up the speakers o n the receiver main
unit.
Ho wever, so me o f the setting items such as the co ntro lled
device registratio n sho uld also be set o n the Po werTo uch.
If setup is made o n the Po werTo uch, it is no t necessary to
repeat any setup o n the receiver side.
Therefo re, it is reco m m ended to perfo rm setup o n the
Po werTo uch. This chapter describes the setup o n the receiver
o nly as an alternative metho d in case the setup is no t made
o n the Po werTo uch.
Do no t o perate the Po werTo uch during the receiver setup.
Preparatio n fo r setup
Mo st o f the receiver co ntro l butto ns are acco m m o dated
inside the panel do o r. Make the fo llo wing preparatio n fo r
setup o n the receiver.
1. Plug the po wer co rd into a ho useho ld po wer o utlet.

receiver no w enters the STANDBY mo de ( in which re-
mo te co ntro l is available) . Then press the
