    INSTALLATION INSTALLATION SAFETY INFORMATION Read these instructions before continuing this appliance installation. This is an outdoor combination heating and cool- ing unit. The installer must assure that these instructions are made available to the consumer and with instructions to retain them for future reference. This equipment is not to be used for temporary heating of buildings or structures under construction.

    Start the supply air blower motor. Adjust the resistances in both the supply and the return air duct systems to balance the air distribution throughout the conditioned space. The job specifications may require that this balancing be done by someone other than the equipment installer.

Even small changes in blower speed can result in substantial changes in static pressure and BHP.

The indoor blower is operated throughout the cycle. The 5-minute off period is necessary to defrost the indoor coil.

    66307-YIM-B-0606 COOLING TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE On calls for cooling, if the compressors are operating but the supply air blower motor does not energize after a short delay (the room thermostat fan switch is in the “AUTO” position): Turn the thermostat fan switch to the ON position. If the supply air blower motor does not energize, go to Step 3.
