Call Handling
To make an internal call, lift the receiver and use the
dial pad to dial an extension number, and then touch
Dial in screen. If you want to make the call hands free,
dial the number without lifting the receiver, and press
Dial. Repeat these steps but press the Headset button
if you want to make the call with a headset. To end
the call, either hang up the receiver, press
free, or press Hang Up in the screen if you are using a
headset.
To make an external call, repeat the relevant steps
above, ensuring that you dial '9' before the phone
number.
To answer a call, either pick up the receiver, press
Answer in the screen, or press the headset button.
Directory Dialling
To call someone who is in your directory, press the
directory key, and then use the number pad to type
the 1st 3 letters of the person you want to call. Select
the correct name from the list that will then appear,
and press Dial in the screen to call them.
Hold and Transfer
To place a caller on hold, press the Hold key. Press it
again to get them back.
Whilst on a call, press Transfer to put the caller on
hold, then dial the number of the person you are
transferring the caller to. Announce the caller and
press Yes in the screen or hang up when you're ready
to transfer the call. Alternatively, hang up before in-
stead of announcing, to make it a blind transfer.
Issue 1
If the transfer isn't successful, touch Cancel in the
screen to return to the original caller.
This will show the calls made
missed
and down. Press Dial when you've selected the
name of the person you want to call.

Whilst on a call, press Park in the screen, dial the
extension where you want to park the call (not your
own extension), and then press Park again and hang
up.
To retrieve a parked call, from the nominated
phone simply lift the receiver. From any other
phone, dial the Unpark code *12 and then the exten-
sion number of the phone where the call is parked.
If you want to pick up another user's call, press Pick
Up in the screen, dial the ringing extension number
or group, and press Pick Up again to intercept the
call.
Whilst on a call, touch Conference, and dial the 3rd
party. Touch Consult to ring and invite the 3rd par-
ty, then Complete to join everyone together.
If you want to end a conference call, simply hang up
to leave other parties talking, or press Show in the
screen and select the party you want to drop from
the call by pressing the hang up icon by their name.
