Install the batteries in the battery compartment on the back of the tester. To extend battery life, remove batteries when the tester is not in use. PoE Checker displays the battery status on the bottom right corner of LCD display. - Page 15 Turning on/off the tester Press and hold the power on/off button for two seconds to turn the tester on. The tester will scan the pins automatically after powering on. To turn the tester off, press and hold the power on/off button for two seconds.

To turn off the power saving function, simply press the power on/off button once and the AUTO OFF indicator on the LCD display will disappear.

Inline Test 1. Connect PoE Checker to switch port of PSE with either one of the line in/out sockets, connect PoE Checker to PD with another line in/out socket. 2. After done the Inline Test connect, the LCD displays PoE type, PoE DC voltage and the power draw of PD in watts. -
