Der KE6000 von Kurth Electronic ist ein einfaches Prüfgerät für Patchkabel, LAN und Fernmeldeverkabelungen. KE6000 prüft und
verifiziert ungeschirmte und geschirmte Verbindungskabel mit verdrillten Doppeladern (UTP- und STP-Kabel) in installierten Netzen
oder bei Patchkabeln. Für installierte Netze werden zwei KE6000 benötigt. Dabei wird dann ein Gerät als Master und eines als Slave
konfiguriert. Der Vorteil ist, dass an beiden Seiten der Status abgelesen und nach erfolgter Korrektur der Test von beiden Seiten
durchgeführt werden kann. Dies führt zu einer echten Zeitersparniss. Vorkommenden Fehler wie Vertauschungen, Unterbrechungen,
Kurzschlüsse und Schirmfehler werden im Display im Klartext angezeigt. Es ist kein umständliches Mitschreiben von blinkenden und
aufleuchtenden LEDs notwendig. KE6000 liefert eindeutige, schnelle und sofort auswertbare Statusinformationen im LCD-Display.
Der eingebaute und einfach zu aktivierende Signalsender sendet auf allen Aderpaaren ein Signal, welches mit der optionalen PROBE
von Kurth Electronic (Art. Nr. 0.49561) empfangen werden kann. Damit ist auch schnell ein Datenport oder ein Kabel gefunden.
Zum Prüfen werden zwei KE6000 benötigt.
KE6000 is a simple, affordable, fast and efficient Network cable tester. KE6000 can test UTP and STP patch cables and by using of two
units also installed wiring of Telecom and Data cables. KE6000 is simple to use with the large easy to read LCD display readouts,
indicating cable faults or verifying cable and pin-out-integrity. The fault is shown here as a clear information - no need for watch and
count flashing LEDs. If KE6000 is used to test a inhouse installation, one unit is set to Master the other is set to Slave. The big
advantage is that on both sides the LCD display shows the fault. After corrective action the cable test can be started from both sides.
This saves time and money. KE6000 checks for Cable faults, including Short Circuit Pairs, Open Circuit Pairs, Shorts between Pairs,
Pair Reversals, Transposed Pairs and other Cable Miswires are indicated even if there are multiple faults. A clear wire map is shown in
the LCD Display. With the build in Tone Transmitter the user is able to send a trace tone on all pairs to detect the corresponding port or
find an open cable. This is done best with the optional Kurth Electronic PROBE (Art. No. 0.49561).
To perform a test you need two KE6000.
