17. SOUND MENU

Select the menu item »Sound« to access various sound settings and
personalise the TV sound.
1. Press the [MENU ] button.
2. You can use the buttons [ ▲ ▼ t u ] to navigate in the menu.
3. Navigate to the menu item »Sound« and confirm with the [OK] button.
4. Press [EXIT ] to return to the last menu item or close the menu.
Sound mode
Select one of the pre-configured sound profiles or go to Users to adjust
the TV sound yourself. The following menu items are available:
Standard | Film | Music | User [Manual setting]
User (Manual setting)
After selecting the »User« profile you have access to the following sound
settings: 100 Hz | 200 Hz | 400 Hz | 1 KHz | 2,5 KHz | 5 KHz | 16 KHz
Balance
Set the balance to adjust the sound output to the left or right speaker.
Set the balance to – 50 to deactivate the right speaker.
Set the balance to +50 to deactivate the left speaker.
AVL
This menu item automatically adjusts the loudness transition between
TV programs and advertising. On | Off
Digital audio output
Set the output format of the digital audio output to connect external devices.
The following menu items are available in the menu: Auto | PCM | Off
Audio description
Switch this menu item »On« or »Off« to activate help for people with a visual
impairment.
This menu item reads TV content aloud if it is transmitted by the broadcaster.
The following menu items are available:
AD Off | On: Switch audio description On / Off.
AD level: Set the loudness level for the audio description.
