• If you have a heart pacemaker, artificial joints or electronic implants, you
must consult your doctor before using this unit.
• Persons with the following medical conditions must not use the unit unless
they have consulted their doctor:
eczema, psoriasis, bruises, swollen or inflamed skin, cracked skin or wounds,
acne, herpes or other skin infections, sunburn, near moles/birthmarks,
rosacea, varicose veins, inflamed veins, pregnancy, diabetes, haemophilia,
immune deficiency, blood circulation problems and other illnesses. If in
doubt, consult your doctor.
• Using an epilator can lead to reddened or irritated skin. This is a normal
reaction which will disappear quickly. Please contact your doctor if the irri-
tation last more than three days.
• To avoid hazardous conditions, do not leave the equipment unattended
whilst it is connected to the mains.
• This unit must not be used on or by children.
• The unit must not be used for the hair on the head, eyelashes or eyebrows.
Risk of injury!
• You can prevent accidents and damage to the unit by keeping the unit away
from clothing, bristles, wires, cords, shoe laces, strings, threads etc. whilst it
is switched on.
• Clean the unit before each use to reduce the risk of inflammation caused by
bacteria.
• Only use the unit on dry, clean skin to which no lotions have been applied.
• The unit must be passed gently over the skin. Therefore, do not use it on
another person and do not let another person treat you.
