MicroStreamer-PoE Interval The interval option is helpful to reduce the number of FTP image uploads if lots of alarm/ events are triggered within a short time. The less the Duration (sec.) between two FTP image uploads is set, the more the network utilization rate (traffic level, bandwidth con- sumption) may increase.

The video streaming function provides the streaming of audio and video data to the net- work without requesting the data actively with a RTSP (Real Time Streaming Protocol) or DaVid Protocol capable client (e.g. Dallmeier recorder or PView). Note that the format of the RTP payload to be transported must correspond with the encod- ing method.
MicroStreamer-PoE MPEG The audio and video data is packetized for a MPEG-2 Program Stream. The data must be encoded in MPEG2 format. RTP/MPV The video data is packetized for a MPEG-2 Video Stream by the Real-Time Transport Protocol (RTP). Audio data is not transferred.
MicroStreamer-PoE A member of the group only receives the data packets if it is aware of the multicast IP address and the appropriate application service is available with the specified port number. IP multicast uses the address range from 224.0.0.0 to 239.255.255.255 (Class D).
MicroStreamer-PoE Camera protocol If required from external devices/applications, the camera protocol can be specified. Open the Camera protocol dialogue via Network > Camera protocol …. MicroStreamer-PoE Select the Bitrate mode. Select the GOP-size (only with MPEG). If required, activate the B-Frames checkbox (only possible at a GOP-size > 6). Frames/Second The frame rate (value in fps) defines the number of consecutive frames produced per se- cond.
MicroStreamer-PoE Reverse playback has limited quality (frame drops) with extended GOPs (> 15). Deinterlacing The aim of this function is to enhance the image quality by computationally eliminating the so-called interlace effect, which may occur after merging two fields into a frame, from the frame.
MicroStreamer-PoE 10.4 Audio The audio bit rate setting allows you not only to control the audio quality, but also the amount of required hard disk space to a certain extent. The higher the audio bit rate, the better the audio quality. A higher bit rate, however, requires more hard disk space than a lower bit rate.
The Level SAD (SAD = Sum of absolute differences) defines the minimum level of alteration necessary to mark an image sector as altered. Major changes required Minor changes required Dallmeier system for the intelligent search of motion events within an image www.dallmeier.com...
Function switched off 11.1 SmartFinder To enable the intelligent search for motion events within an image with a Dallmeier recor- der, SmartFinder has to be activated. Activate the Enable SmartFinder checkbox. Fig. 11-2 Note the explanations below.
MicroStreamer-PoE This setting allows reducing the number of events triggered by the repeated motion of the same object. Example: Every object is a new event Very large number of events Sensitivity This function checks the extent to which an old (still valid) object and a new object overlap.
