Playing the Accompaniment

When the Style mode is active, the panel buttons below the function as style con-
trols.
Pressing this button
alternately enables and
cancels the bass and
chord accompaniment.
Pressing this button alter-
nately enables and cancels
the Sync Start function. (See
page 44.)

Press the [ACCOMPANIMENT ON/OFF] button.
This enables the auto accompaniment.

Start the accompaniment.
You can do this in one of the following ways:
Pressing the [START/STOP] button
The rhythm starts playing immediately without bass and chord accompani-
ment. The currently selected Main A or B section will play. (You can select
either by repeatedly pressing the [MAIN/AUTO FILL] button, before press-
ing the [START/STOP] button.)
Pressing this button alter-
nately starts and stops style
playback.

Indicates that auto accompaniment is on.
Selecting and Playing Styles
Pressing this button switches between
the Main A and Main B sections, auto-
matically adding a fill-in pattern before
changing the section. (See page 46.)
This controls the Intro and Ending
sections. (See pages 45, 46.)
