Maintenance
1. Check the trap regularly and change the water every
week if you do not add Bti. In case you add Bti change
the water at least once a month. Attention: If it is dry,
the water can evaporate quickly. Make sure that there is
enough water in the trap at all times.
2. Remove any debris that falls into the trap or deters the
mosquitoes from entering the trap.
3. Make sure the barrier net does not hang into the water. If it
does, tighten it as described under the chapter "Assembling
the Trap"point 5 above. Empty, clean, and refill the bucket.
This will destroy larvae or pupae that may have developed.

4. Avoid the development of larvae by either
• emptying, cleaning, and refilling the bucket weekly
or by
• adding the biological larvicide Bti ("mosquito
dunks" and similar products).
5. Replace the sticky card when it is full or does not stick
anymore because of accumulated dust.
