    USING THE HEADSET OR SPEAKER 1) Use the Speaker Button to turn speaker ON/OFF. 2) Use the Headset button to use the headset if it has been connected. MAKING A CALL 1) Take Handset/Headset off-hook or press Speaker button or an available LINE key (activates speakerphone).

    CALL HOLD/RESUME 1) Hold: Place a call on ‘hold’ by pressing the Hold button. 2) Resume: Resume call by pressing the corresponding blinking LINE button. CALL TRANSFER Assuming that you are in a call and wish to transfer the call to another party.

    3-WAY CONFERENCE Initiate a Conference Call: Assuming that you are already in a conversation and wish to bring a third party together in a 3-way conference. 1) Press Conference button to bring up the conference dialing screen. 2) Dial the third-party number (internal or outside number) followed by the send button.

    PARK/UNPARK A CALL The Phone system offers the ability to park up to nine calls, and for a parked call to be picked up from any other extension. To park a call: Press the Transfer button followed by 1 to 9 to specify the parking slot 1-9.
  • Page 7 STAR DIAL FEATURES The Falcon PBX provides several special functions, all initiated by dialing a number preceded with the “*” key. Whisper is where a prompt is spoken only to one side of the call and is not heard by the other party. While in a call: The following functions can be activated when the user is in an active call.
