• Always unplug the unit and allow it to cool before cleaning.
• Clean the outside of the appliance with a sponge or a slightly damp cloth.
• Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid!
• Never use abrasive products, wire brush or other sharp objects.
• After use, position the iron above a sink or container, Fill port down, and,
empty the remaining water into the tank.
• Place the iron on its support base and set the thermostat to "MAX" heat for 2
minutes to evaporate the remaining water.
• Unplug the iron and allow it to cool before storing.
It is good to clean the iron every 10-15 days!
To do this :
Fill the water tank
Push the steam control knob to 0 position.
Set the thermostat to the "••• MAX" position
Connect the iron to the power supply.
Wait for the heating indicator light to come off.
When the light is off, unplug the power supply and position the iron horizontally
above a sink.
Press the Auto Clean button, the water will drain from the steam spray holes of
the soleplate.
When the water tank is empty and the water is no longer flowing, Run a soft cloth
or damp sponge on the soleplate to remove residue.
Put the iron horizontally on a clean towel, on a stable support, until it becomes
dry.
Check that the soleplate is dry before repositioning the iron on its base and storing
it.
- Ensure the unit is completely cool and dry.
- Do not wrap the cord around the appliance, as this will cause damage.
- Keep the appliance in a cool, dry place and out of reach from children.
