Position the hydraulic tank onto the machine
frame and ensure that the clearance between
the hydraulic tank and the fuel tank is 3.2 to 9.5
mm (1/8 to 3/8 inch).
7.
Apply anti-seize lubricant to the threads of the
3 capscrews. Secure the hydraulic tank to the
machine frame with 3 capscrews, flat washers,
and bushings. Torque the capscrews from 3.4 to
6.7 N∙m (30 to 60 in-lb).
8.
Using your notes taken during the removal of
the existing tank, connect the hydraulic hoses to
the tank fittings. Tighten the hose connections.

Installing the Leak-Detector
Tank
Greensmaster 3150 Machines Only
No Parts Required
Procedure
1.
Position the leak-detector tank onto the hydraulic
tank.
2.
Use the capscrews and the lock washers to
secure the solenoid-valve assembly to the
hydraulic tank
3.
Connect the overflow hose to the hydraulic-tank
spout and secure it with a hose clamp.
4.
Position the carbon canister and bracket onto
the leak-detector tank.
5.
Perform the following steps to secure the
leak-detector tank to the hydraulic tank:
Figure 4
2. Spout
A.
Apply anti-seize lubricant to the threads of
the capscrews.
B.
Use the capscrews, flat washers, neoprene
washers, and spacers to secure the
leak-detector tank and carbon canister to
the hydraulic tank.
C.
Torque the capscrews to 3.4 to 6.7 N∙m (30
to 60 in-lb).

capscrews. If you overtighten the screws,
the threads in the hydraulic tank may
become damaged.
6.
Connect the leak-detector-solenoid coil to the
machine wire harness.

Completing the Installation
No Parts Required
Procedure
1.
Fill the hydraulic tank with new hydraulic fluid;
refer to your machine Operator's Manual.
2.
If your machine is equipped with a leak-detector
tank:
A.
Connect the oil-level-sensor wire connector
to the machine wire harness.
B.
Connect the battery; refer to your machine
Operator's Manual.
C.
Ensure that the leak-detector system is
operating; refer to your machine Operator's
Manual
3.
Use the dipstick to monitor the hydraulic-fluid
level.
Note:
As air is removed from the hydraulic
circuit, you may need to adjust the hydraulic-fluid
level after you initially fill the tank.
