IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Safe use and care of your equipment
We have designed and made this product to meet European Safety Standards, but as with any
electrical equipment you must take care to stay safe and get the best results. Here is some good
advice to help you do this. Read these instructions carefully before you use your equipment for the
first time.
Do not store this product in cold areas. When the product warms up to room temperature

moisture can form inside which may damage the electronic circuits.
To prevent electric shock do not remove any cover.

If anything goes wrong do not try to fix it yourself, get a qualified service agent to look at it.

Do not continue to use this equipment if you have spilt liquids in it, if it is damaged in any way

or if it does not work as it should, immediately unplug the equipment and get expert advice.
Do not drop or knock the product, rough handling may damage the internal components.

The mains plug shall be the main disconnect device and should be accessible at all times.

WARNINGS:
This appliance is intended for domestic household use only and should not be used for any

other purpose or in any other application, such as for non-domestic use or in a commercial
environment.
The external flexible cable or cord of this transformer cannot be replaced; if the cord is

damaged, the transformer must be scrapped.
The apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and that no objects filled with

liquids, such as vases shall be place on the apparatus.
No naked flame sources, such as candles should be placed on the apparatus.

The ventilation should not be impeded by covering the ventilation openings with items, such as

newspapers, table-cloths, curtains etc.

Place the product on a hard flat surface away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Do not obstruct
the ventilation slots, including those underneath with soft furnishings.
At full power, prolonged listening to the player can damage the ear of the user
WARNING: To protect your hearing
It is important that any headphones or earphones used in conjunction with this product
are compliant with French Decree of 8 November 2005 implementing Article L.5232-1
This ensures that the sound level does not exceed 100 dB SPL. The prolonged listening
at high volume for more than five hours a week can damage your hearing.
