5.11 Emergency power supply
The emergency power supply is only possible
once the battery signal is showing 'empty'.
If all alarm messages have been ignored, up to the
point where the batteries are completely discharged,
it will no longer be possible to operate the compo-
nents. All functions are locked, the only signal is for
'empty' batteries (acoustic signal 1 x 3s).
The following actuators may still be opened with the
Programmer and the emergency power supply.
• c-lever
• TouchGo c-lever
Behaviour of actuators during emergency power sup-
ply:
• actuator remains open
• 'Emergency power supply' event in Trace-
back
• TimePro is not evaluated.
For access authorisations with time settings
and CardLink, always replace the batteries for
the actuators and set the clock precisely fol-
lowing emergency power supply.
1. Open settings menu. (See Chapter 5.2.)
2. Select Emergency power supply in the sub-
menu and confirm using the ENTER key.
3. Connect the programming cable and press
the ENTER key.
4. The Programmer action is displayed.
5.
Present an authorised medium.
6.
Replace the batteries.
