8. Commissioning, operation

a) Inserting/replacing batteries

• Open the battery compartment on the rear of the temperature controller
and insert two type AAA/Micro batteries with correct polarity (observe
plus/+ and minus/-).
• All display segments will appear briefly; then the digital clock will start up
and the first measured value for temperature and humidity are displayed
at the right.
• Close the battery compartment again.
A battery change is required when the display contrast drops stron-
gly. In case of battery change, the programming is retained and you
only need to set the time again.

b) Receiver (Radio Switching Socket)

• Plug the receiver into a proper protective ground mains socket (wall out-
let) of the public mains.
• Connect the desired consumer to the socket at the front of the receiver.

c) Setting the time

• Push the button "FUNC" briefly repeatedly until "CANCEL" appears at the
left of the display.
• Keep the button "FUNC" pushed (approx. 3 seconds) until the weekday
flashes in the display (above the time display).
• Set the weekday or period with the buttons "+/ON" and "-/OFF".
