Page 27 If software version in MOTOBOX is newer version in ECM of motorcycle then you should update a new version for ECM. If software version in MOTOBOX like as version in ECM of motorcycle that ECM software is faulty then you need update software for ECM.

Page 29 You check connection and repeat the checking steps. - Disconnect DLC cable between DLC diagnostic connector on motorcycle and MOTOBOX - Reset the supply power for MOTOBOX (unplug power cable for 30 seconds then reconnect) - Turn OFF and turn ON ignition key then reconnect DLC cable NOTES: You turn off and turn on ignition key to have finished upgrading ECM (this is obligatory).
