1 Attach the power cord to the power supply module:
1 Insert the locking tab end of the retention strap into the receiver hole of the power supply unit,
located to the right of Power Supply #1.
2 Adjust the slider of the retention strap by pushing up the locking tab on the bottom of the slider.
3 If you are using another power cord to create an optional redundant power supply, connect the
two AC power cords to power supplies #1 and #2. These two power supplies combine and create
an optional redundant power supply.
4 Lock the retention strap to the power cord by pulling the slider strap over the power cord.

2 Plug the other end of the power cords into grounded electrical outlets or to separate power sources,
such as an uninterrupted power supply (UPS) or a power distribution unit (PDU).
3 Using the power button on the

The power button must be pressed to turn it on. The appliance is on only when the power
button LED is on.
